Run Forest Run

Running! Oh how I love you! You have done some great things in my life.

You have healed me, strenghthed me,  inspired me, loved me (i.e down hill), hated me (i.e hills, sprints), and most of all your something that I can always do.

Lets go through a speedy version of my life really fast.

1. I was born

2. I was 13 and called chubby, rolly, curvey (great word curvy, but not to a 13 year old)  and was told not to eat so much food

3. 18 years old started running, more like walking faster, but hey I was beating those couch potatoes!

4. 19 eating disorder (gasp from the audience, yes people not the best time of my life, would I erase it? No. (gasp again), My ed taught me a lot and I feel it has made me the person I am today. (Will discuss more in future posts)

5. 20 started running and have not stopped… (5k’s, 10k’s, 1/2 marathon!)

6. 21 ran in my first 1/2 marathon

7. 21 injured

Yeah I stole this

I hope to inspire others like running has inspired me. Running is something I love to do, so I want to help others realize that running is not a punishment but it can truly make your life better!!!
